A new social networking site called MakeGirlfriends.com helps women find and develop true friendships with each other. The site launches on August 1st, which is National Girlfriends Day.
Nancy Shields, founder of MakeGirlfriends.com, is a pro at finding and making new girlfriends. She travels the country for work and pleasure, staying in different areas for several months at a time. Her ability to make girlfriends, not just acquaintances, has helped her build an amazing network of “girlfriends” from coast to coast. This ability allows her to forge lasting friendships, and become quickly acclimated to new towns.
Nancy recognized that a major demographic was being ignored, and thought: “Why not create a website where women can meet other women, and find inspirational content that is focused specifically for them?” MakeGirlfriends.com is ideally positioned to serve this niche demographic that has almost limitless potential.
Nancy says, “The goals of my site are simple; to provide a place for women to Meet, Share, and Inspire. Women can create a free profile and be matched up with other women of similar interests in their geographic area. There will be inspirational content specifically for women, and a Your Voice section where women can share their individual and unique inspirational stories.”
